TUTTO QUELLO CHE SIAMO - FEDERICA BOSCO

Qualche tempo fa ho avuto il piacere di conoscere l'autrice di questo romanzo ad una serata con tè e libri organizzata dalla Libreria Palazzo Roberti. In quell'occasione c'è stato modo di conoscere più da vicino la scrittrice rispetto ad una normale presentazione e così sperimentare un dialogo più colloquiale. Inoltre lei è una personalità esuberante e molto diretta, per tale motivo è stato più facile anche capire il suo stile di scrittura e la sua volontà di scarnificare la metafora per arrivare a raccontare della realtà. Tutto quello che siamo è un titolo parlante, perché il racconto narra la vicenda di una ragazza di 19 anni, Marina, che affronta la sua vita in un ambiente malato e questo soffoca il suo essere nel mondo. Lo stile appare essere semplice, ma questa sua caratteristica non sminuisce l'accuratezza con cui l'autrice affronta i temi trattati: la morte, la solitudine, la violenza e la fiducia. L'intero percorso di questo libro è sofferente, riuscirete a sentire l'ansia stessa di Marina che vi sale alla gola e a volte proverete anche il dolore della delusione, che spesso purtroppo la assale. Posso affermare che sia una favola moderna, che richiama i tratti di una Cenerentola della Disney catapultata in un futuro troppo spesso senza magia. Federica Bosco ha saputo commuovermi in un modo unico ed è stata anche in grado di farmi riflettere sulla fortuna di trovare una famiglia unita e non perfetta, perché ignoriamo il fatto che una famiglia perfetta non sempre dà la felicità. Personalmente sono rimasta colpita dallo svolgimento non banale dei fatti e anche dal modo attuale con cui scrive in questo libro. Sono rimasta molto soddisfatta di questa lettura e per questo motivo ve lo consiglio caldamente.

Some time ago I had the pleasure to meet the author of this novel at an evening with tea and books organised by Libreria Palazzo Roberti. On that occasion there was a way to know better the writer compared to the usual presentation of a book and so to experience a dialogue which was more colloquial. Furthermore she has an exuberant personality and really direct, for this reason it was easier to understand her writing style and her will to take the flesh off the metaphor to tell the reality. All we are is a speaking title, because the tale talks about the life of a nineteen year old girl, Marina, who faces her existence in a sick background and this suffocates her being. The style appears easy, but this characteristic doesn't diminish the carefulness with which the author faces some themes: death, loneliness, violence and trust. The whole course of this book is based on sufference, you could feel Marina's anxiety climbing in her throat and sometimes you can also feel the pain of a disappointment, that often assaults her. I can say that this is a modern fable, that recovers the traits of a Cinderella of Disney launched in a future without magic. Federica Bosco moved me in a nonpareil way and also she was able to let me reflect about luck to have a close-knit family and not perfect, because we ignore that a perfect family doesn't give happiness everytime. Personally I was impressed by the not trivial development and also by the current way to write this book. I was really satisfied with this reading and for this reason I strongly recommend it to you.
